Monkeys
Don't monkey around! When you die where will you go? Heaven and hell are real places and God wants YOU in Heaven with Him!
If you are not absolutely sure that you will go to heaven when you die, then you need to get sure!
There are 3 things you need to know and only 1 thing you need to do!
Romans 3:23 tells us "all have sinned." That just means we have all made mistakes.
Romans 6:23 tells us "the result of sin is death BUT the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ." That means God wants to give you the gift of eternal life!
Romans 10:13 tells us "anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved." That means you! If you ask Jesus to save you, He will! And that’s good news!
Say this prayer out loud:
“Heavenly Father, I believe Jesus died on the cross and rose again for me to pay the price for my sin and sickness. I give you my life. I want Jesus Christ to come into my life and into my heart. Amen.”
If you prayed this prayer for the first time, then you now belong to the Family of God! We would like to send you some free booklets to help you get to know God and discover the great plan He has for you and your life!

A Giver's Confession
The windows of heaven are open over me. Blessings are being poured out. God Himself has rebuked the devourer for my sake. The fruit of my ground will not be destroyed. The vine won't fail to bear fruit in the field. Nations will call me blessed. I will be a delightful land. today I am experiencing God's supernatural increase. I have a covenant of increase and I will walk in it by Faith.

Children's Ministry
Children's ministry is very important to us at Word of Faith. We strive to have our children KNOW God and experience God's love all the time.
We invite your child to join each week for all the exciting things happening at Word of Faith! Every service is very diverse to help your
grade-schoolers grow and understand God's Love in many ways. Praise and Worship, peer to peer praying, games to help them remember the Bible verses, dramas, and, of course, a Bible Buck store are just a few interactive segments. Your little soldier would not want to miss a class!
Nursery (Birth through age two)
Our caring volunteer staff will welcome your child, read scriptures over them and pray with them.
Little Lambs (Age two through age four)
Toddlers are a very interactive group of children and we strive to make sure that they are learning and have fun!
King's Kids (Age four through kindergarten)
Your pre-schooler will have a blast learning about God through relevant games, puppets, crafts and interactive activities. They are encouraged each week to memorize a Bible verse.
Kidz Force (Grade one through grade six)
Adventure is the key when you're a soldier in Kidz Force! Your
grade-schoolers will learn how to be a soldier in God's Army. Kidz Force gives them a strong foundation that will take them through their teens, while nurturing and developing God's gifts and preparing soldiers for His Army.

Prayer
God is a gentleman; He will not involve Himself in our lives uninvited. Prayer is our way of inviting and welcoming God and all that He is into our lives. Please come out and join us as we learn how to pray effectively and then do just that: seek the Lord and His assistance in our lives and for our church.

Word of Faith offers many Connect Groups that meet in homes across Edmonton and the surrounding area. We hope you'll be bold, take an opportunity, break out of your comfort zone and meet some new people!
In Him Realities
If you call yourself a born again Christian, you are in Christ. If you are in Christ, anything the Word says about someone in Christ is true of you. We need to view our being in Christ as a reality because that's what it is. You are put into Christ; or, we might say, you were in-Christed. What God says in the Epistles about us in Christ are not provisions or potentialities; they are realities. They are not promises, but facts. This study will help you to become so conscious of these realities, to develop them in you so that they will have a greater influence on your mind and actions. You will learn five fundamental principles of the Gospel that will cause a paradigm shift in your mind and give you a deeper revelation, and a new level of understanding of how to always walk in the supernatural things of God (Col 2:6).

Faith Connections
This Bible Study is a the continuation of the In Him Realities; its realization and further training in practical application of our righteousness in Christ - God's free gift to all of us. Here you will learn the truth about fellowship according to the New Covenant, fellowship with God and with other Christians. If God so loves the world and loves us, then we ought to also love one another (1 John 4:11). Faith is made complete by action and the power of God is brought to bear through the action of faith. This Bible Study will help you understand the difference between faith and law; what are the benefits of walking in love, how to experience the flow of blessings and have your prayers answered. You will enjoy a safe environment and warmth of the hosts' home, where you'll be able to grow in understanding of Gods expectations for a Christians life. Come, learn and have fun!

Two-Stepping Twosomes
As a dance called HORAH for the Jewish folks, so is a dance called TWO-STEP for a lot of Albertans, which roots go deep into this country's cowboy heritage. In both cultures, these dances are a favourite pastime, and a way to express joy and unity.
We are so excited to offer you, or you and your spouse, an opportunity to have fun and strengthen your relationship with each other, as you learn the step-close-step pattern of this all-favourite country dance.
As the words of a popular Christian song state: We gonna dance, dance, dance in the freedom we know.
It's a hoot like walking by faith: one step, two-step, three steps at a time...
Host: Roman and Erin McCormack
When: Thursdays, starting October 1, 2009

Worship Team
Our congregation is made up of different age groups, backgrounds and ethnicities. The praise and worship portion of our service is contemporary in style, reflecting the musical tastes and genre of the more recent generation. Our repertoire consists of both popular Christian praise and worship songs and original pieces written by our own band members.
Praise and worship is not only the musical part of a church service, it is the lifestyle of a Christian. It is our response to what God has done and who He is. Here at Word of Faith, our Praise and Worship Team weekly works on creating an atmosphere of excitement, faith and expectancy for the ministry of the Word and the Spirit by being a visible example for the congregation to follow. Using music as a primary vehicle, we help others to connect with God and we can see people's lives begin to transform.
Bridge Builders
Bridge Builders is for people aged 50+ looking for opportunities to build bridges of love among God's family and in the community. We are looking to increase in wisdom and to renew our minds and youthfulness with God's word. We are a fun-loving group and enjoy many outings. In this way, we can fellowship with others in the church in this same stage of life. We also are looking for ways to encourage our Pastors, help in areas of the church that need help, building bridges of love for people who are in hospital, phoning people who might be away from the fellowship; and in general to help raise people up to their God-given potential.

Ushering
Many people have never noticed the Ministry of helps in the Bible, but God has set this vital ministry in the church.
Ushering is a ministry that is ordained and anointed by God Himself. Ushers have been divinely set in the church for a purpose.
It is a supernatural ministry, just as miracles and healing. Many churches seem to demoralize an Usher's position, thinking that they are limited and unimportant. However, the duties of an Usher range far beyond passing buckets and shaking hands, and encompass weighty and meaningful tasks.
These tasks can be put into four areas:
•The first and foremost is to assist the Pastor. They are to help the Pastor bring his vision for the local church to fulfillment.
•Secondly, an Usher is God's public-relations man and represents the church to every new visitor.
•Thirdly, an Usher is to maintain order and orchestrate movement during the service.
•Lastly, an Usher is to receive offerings in a cheerful manner
If being an Usher is something YOU would like to be involved in, please contact our office at admin_ewoff.org.
Greeting
When visitors and church members walk through the door of the church, the first person they meet is a Greeter. This encounter forms their first impression of the church, and whatever that impression is; they will expect more of the same. Even though the actual service or worship hasn't started yet, they have already received a glimpse of what is to come.
A Greeter is an ambassador of the Most High God to His people. Because of this high honor, a Greeter needs to look and act their best because of whom they are representing. In addition to representing God Himself, the Greeter is also an extension of the Pastors. By being a greeter, they are helping the Pastors to fulfill the vision that God has given them.
A Greeter is there to help people feel welcomed, loved, important, at peace and comfortable, as well as to introduce them to the facilities offered by the church. When people pass through the church doors, it is a greeter's responsibility to ensure that they are served and that their needs are met and any questions answered. A Greeter should take the visitor and show them around the building. They can share how the church began, and how the Pastor was called to be the Pastor of this church. They can also share a little bit with the visitor of what God is currently doing in the church by sharing a recent testimony or story. A Greeter must be an attentive listener as they give the visitors an opportunity to talk about themselves and their family.
Since the Greeter is likely the only familiar face in the crowd to that visitor, it is important for the greeter to reconnect with them at the end of the service. They can tell them how good it was to have them there.
They should also ask if there are any questions, and answer them as best as they can. This is also a good opportunity for the visitor to provide valuable feedback about their impression of that service.
Being a Greeter is a crucial part of the church body. They are the first face of the church, and are the key people who welcome visitors and make the people feel at home. By having a warm connection with the church, we are all more likely to return each week.
If you are interested in being a Greeter, please contact our office at admin_ewoff.org
The most important requirement for anyone who is considering joining our team is commitment to the church.
That means that a person has been faithfully attending Word of Faith on a regular basis for at least three months consecutively.

About Us
Statement of Faith
ABOUT US
Pastors Doug and Sveta Klan started Edmonton Word of Faith Fellowship, or simply Word of Faith, in 1999. Services commenced on May 9th in one of the auditoriums of The Kings University College. They had a heart to establish a church where all are welcome a place where all individuals and families can grow and flourish in faith and rise up to their God-given destiny.
Word of Faith is made up of people from all walks of life, and people who are at different places in their relationship with God. It is a blend of brand-new believers and established, mature Christians; business people to construction workers to homemakers. People at our church are hungry for more of God in their lives and have opportunities to receive relevant weekly teachings on topics such as family relationships, overcoming pressure, living debt free, walking in love and living by faith: teaching that helps our congregation grow into men and women who know who they are in Christ Jesus.
We hope you'll join us this Sunday for our encouraging worship service, where together we are learning to live victorious lives based on the promises in Gods Word. We know that you will feel the presence of the Holy Spirit as we worship together through contemporary music, prayer and life-changing messages.

At Word of Faith, you'll never be put on the spot, never singled-out, and never embarrassed. As our guest, you won't be asked to participate in the offering. You don't have to sign anything or register your attendance in any way (unless you place your child in our children's ministry - for your child's security, we'll need to get some basic information).

6. What about my children - do they come into the service with me or are there classes for them?
Our children's ministry, Kidz Force and Kids Zone, provides an exciting experience for infants through 6th grade. This allows you to get the most from your experience at Word of Faith while your child is receiving high levels of care, attention, age-appropriate teaching and fun!

Absolutely. Though non-traditional in style, Word of Faith Church is deeply committed to the eternal truths of the Christian faith. Our basic statement of faith is available for reading here and reflects a commitment to Biblical teaching and principles.
Our mission is simple: To reach people away from God and building life-long followers of Jesus Christ.
9. How can I become involved at Word of Faith Church?
Becoming involved is really pretty simple here. We've boiled it down to 4 steps:
01. Begin attending regularly. (you'll get to know people and they will get to know you!)
02. Attend our classes provided.
03. Become one of our valued volunteers. (find a ministry you love and do it!)
04. Get involved in one of many small groups during the week.
Imagine a place where people came together to contribute to the greater good of others
